Blood Konnector ("we," "us," or "our") operates a platform that connects voluntary blood donors with recipients across Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By creating an account, registering as a donor or recipient, or otherwise using Blood Konnector, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials.
• Donor profile data: blood group, city or locality, availability status, donation history, and related preferences.
• Recipient / request data: blood group needed, urgency, hospital or location details, contact information, and request notes you submit.
• Communications: messages you send through contact forms, support channels, or in-app communication features.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

Some of this information may be considered sensitive or health-related (for example, blood group). We collect it only to enable donor–recipient matching and related platform features, and only with your consent where required.

• Create and manage your account and donor or recipient profiles.
• Match blood requests with compatible, available donors.
• Enable direct contact between donors and recipients (for example, via phone, email, or WhatsApp links you choose to use).
• Send service notices, security alerts, and important platform updates.
• Improve reliability, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• Respond to support requests and legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health-related data for advertising.

Your information may be shared in limited circumstances:

• With other users for matching: when you register as a donor or submit a blood request, relevant details (such as blood group, city, availability, and contact methods you provide) may be visible to users who need them to coordinate a donation.
• Service providers: trusted vendors who help us host, authenticate, store, or operate the platform (for example, cloud infrastructure and authentication services), under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
• Legal requirements: when disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users and the platform.

Blood Konnector is a coordination platform. We do not perform medical procedures, verify medical fitness to donate, or guarantee donation outcomes. Contact and coordination between users is generally direct.

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls, encrypted connections where applicable, and database security policies such as row-level access restrictions.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. You may request account deletion or correction of inaccurate information by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate platform integrity purposes.

Depending on applicable law, you may be able to:

• Access and update profile information in your account settings.
• Change donor availability or visibility preferences.
• Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the basis.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

Blood Konnector is intended for users who are legally able to create an account and, where applicable, donate blood under Pakistani law and medical guidelines. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable requirements. If you believe a minor has provided us data improperly, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Blood Konnector is operated from Pakistan and primarily serves users in Pakistan. Your information may be processed and stored on infrastructure located in or outside Pakistan, including by our cloud and authentication providers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in such locations, with safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if changes are material, provide additional notice through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use of Blood Konnector after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
